Noble Lion Leather

Welcome to Noble Lion Leather, an artisan serving the historic re-enactment, Renassiance Faire and LARP communities.  We create leather items after the fashions of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, from Armour to protect valiant knights, to Pouches and Bags to carry precious items, to Bottels and Jacks for drink and revelry. 

Who We Are

  The instigator and artisan behind the curtain is Peter Ellis, known in the Society for Creative Anachronism as Duke Gavin Kilkenny of Kilcarren, KSCA.  With over thirty years of competing in recreations of armoured combat he has developed a thorough understanding of the needs of this most challenging combination of sport and historic recreation.

A lifelong interest in working with leather is brought to every project, whether a simple leather drawstring pouch, a leather bottel or a breastplate with an intricately tooled and painted coat of arms.
